Hotel Del Mar’s elegant décor and spacious common areas made it an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. Its prime location near the beach and Gothic Quarter made exploring so effortless for me as a senior traveler.
More seating options in the lobby would be great.

Air conditioning inconsistent, leading to unpleasant room temperatures!!! Noise from the streets disrupts sleep, especially during active nightlife periods!!! Cleanliness could use better attention during housekeeping!!!

Good selection for a holiday in Barcelona with decent value for cost. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. Make sure to get tickets in advance for Sagrada Familia and Park Guell to avoid disappointment.

We had an awesome stay with friends! The location is perfect for exploring, and we loved visiting the beach and the harbor. The waterfront mural near the reception really set the seaside vibe. There's a cozy TV room for hanging out together. Just a tip, the outside rooms are cooler, so be sure to ask for one for better airflow!
One downside was that the shower had a bit of an issue. it took a long time for maintenance to respond. It was frustrating to wait, but everything else was pretty great.

In my kids’ opinion, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities available at the hotel.

Excellent location and friendly staff
We had a wonderful stay in a Double or Twin Room, perfectly situated near the beach and Gothic Quarter. The staff went above and beyond, accommodating our early check-in and storing our luggage for ease. Breakfast was a delightful spread, including fresh fruits and a variety of cold cuts. However, the air conditioning could have been more effective during the warmer parts of the day.

Fantastic location and vibes!
Spent 4 nights in a cozy room with a nice side balcony. The staff was super friendly, always there to help out. Breakfast was great—lots of choices and the pastries were delish! Only issue was that some areas were being decorated, which made things a bit messy at times.

Ideal for a Group Escape
The staff was really nice. They kept our luggage after check-out, and booked a taxi to the airport efficiently. I loved how close we were to the beach. Only a 15-minute walk, and we were there, soaking up the sun.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap, but the value was still pretty good.
